I located the papers Ada filed for divorce in the Pottawatomie County Courthouse.  The case # was SC2131 & is on microfilm.

Ada had been married once or twice before marrying Sam. Ada had a daughter by her marriage to Mr. Finley and a daughter, Hazel, with Sam.  She claimed Sam abused her.  She didn't want Sam to leave her and take their money, $900.00 in the Farmers Natl. Bank in Tecumseh. Sam claimed she had affairs with other men.  She later dropped the case.  Ada paid $10 to file for divorce.
