Devon; Married (1) by 1254 Sibyl Oliver, liv. 1306, dau. & h. of Walter Oliver, lord of Wambrook, Somerset, from whom divorced betw. 1287 and 1290; Married (2) after 10 Aug. 1300 Alice, widow Peter Corbet. With Alice, Sir Humphrey held the manor of Silferton, co. Devon, in dower for the term of their lives. He first served overseas 1274, and by military Summons against the Scots, as holding £4O Som. & Dorset lands. Knight of the Shire in parliament for Devon 1312, Devon & Dorset 1313.
