- They were from Germany into Pennsyvania about 1750 then into frederick Co Md about 1760-1800 then they moved to Jefferson & Nelson Co Ky area for a few years. They then moved to St Louis Co Mo by 1812. Some of them moved to Howard Co Mo moved around several counties in south central MO. He ended up in Pulaski & TCo Mo area by 1838 until his death about 1854.
CITY NOTES: Frederick town was first founded in 1745 on a tract of land on the banks of Caroll Creek, which was laid out by Daniel Dulany. Mr. Daniel was a land speculator was was settled by Led Johann Schley, a German immigrant. Mr. Johann and his wife constructed the first house in the city.
