"Robert I., s. of Daniel Silliman I. m. Sarah d. of Cornelius Hull I.. Their children were Sarah bapt. 16. Sept. 1694; Nathaniel 27. Sept. 1696; Anne 12. March 1689/9; Martha 24. Aug: 1701; Robert 19 March 1703/4; Rebecca 8 April 1705; Ebenezer 21 Sept. 1707. Robert the father died in 1748". (History of Fairfield)
"His wife, Sarah was named as dau. in will 1695 of Cornelius Hull. She was prob. widow of John Knapp, for Silliman entered caveat against Knapp estates, claiming a right in Est. of John Knapp and also in Est. of "his Mother-in-law" Elizabeth Knapp. Robert also purchased a right from Moses Knapp, and in 1718 made a distribution agreement with Daniel Knapp, bro. of Moses.
