  Jan 9 1966 Herbert P. Shane, 51, Henry, died Saturday night at St. Francis Hospital, Peoria. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Weber Funeral Home, CHillicothe, the Rev. Keith Gaither officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Dunlap. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born Aug 23, 1914 in Slayton, Minn., a son of Charles and Lillian Brodhead Shane. Surviving are his mother; four brothers, Elburton of Mossville, Norris, Andrew, Neal; one half brother, WIlliam Hamilton and one sister, Mrs. Martha Secrest.
