    Oscar taught school in Carroll County, MD for 10 years, and later at HanoverHigh School. He also was a music instructor.
    He was a charter member of the Hanover Musicians Association, served assecretary-treasurer from the organization's inception on Feb. 2, 1917,until June 13, 1966. He served 30 yrs. as secretary-treasurer of thePenn-Del-Mar Conference of the American Federation of Musicians. Memberof the former Uniform Rank Co. 8, Knights of Pythias Band, and formerHanover Civic Orchestra.
    Oscar was employed by the Dept. of Revenue from 1939-1950. He was amember of Emmanuel UCC, where he taught Sunday school and was a member ofthe choir. He also served as organist at St. Mary's UCC, Silver Run, MD.
