    Services for WIlliam Shane, 85, of 726 E. McClure Ave., retired farmer who died at 8:30 a.m. yesterday at Proctor Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cumerford-Endsley Memorial Home.
    The Rev. John Hoffmann of Peoria Heights Congregational Church will officiate and burial will be in Prospect Cemetery at Dunlap.
    Friends may call at the memorial home from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
    A Peoria resident for 45 years, he was born Sept. 26, 1881, at Lawn Ridge, the son of Albert and Emma Hensel Shane. He was married to Bertha Green at Lawn Ridge Feb 1, 1905, and she died in Peoria April 22, 1964.
    Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Otto (Lena) Hurd of Peoria; Mrs. Charles (Lula) Thompson of Pekin; and a number of nieces and nephews. Seven brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
