| Notes |
- Christian and brother Henry came to Wisconsin about 1854. Christian bought 40
acres in the town of Bloom (platt number 40 at the bottom of Johnson Hill). He
met Lucinda there and married her. She died in childbirth and is buried at the
farm in Bloom City.
Catherine's family came from Tennessee to Wisconsin about 1854. She could not
read or write.
