    • Mrs. Bertha Shane, 82, a resident of 726 E. McClure Ave. for 37 years, died at her home at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. She had been ill for several years.
      A Peoria resident for more than 40 years, Mrs. Shane was born in Marshall County, march 23, 1882. She was the daughter of langford R. and Diane Seelye Green and was married to WIlliam Shane at lawn Ridge Feb.1, 1905.
      Surviving are her husband; two sister, Mrs. Edna Johnson and Mrs. Carrie Pritchard, both of Peoria Heights; four nephews and one niece. Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
      Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cumerford-Endsley Memorial Home. The Rev John M. Hoffmann of the Peoria Heights Congregational Church will officiate and burial will be in Prospect Cemetery at Dunlap.
      Friends may call at the memorial home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday
